New trailer winch reqd

As a new 96 nautique owner I need yet another question answering.

I need to replace my trailer winch.Ive found a couple but Im a little wary of the working wieght capacities.

Does anyone know what they should be.Ive found one that is 500 kg (1100lbs) working capacity and 1500kg (3300lbs) breaking capacity.

Would that suitable ??

not completely sure how much force is required to move a wet boat (you'll never move a dry one), but 3300 lbs would pick it up. However, you'll never go wrong with Heavy Duty. Is there a major price difference?

I just checked the winch on my 2001 SN196. It is made by Shelby model #5405 and it has a 1400lb capacity,. i believe the posted weight on my boat is around 2620 lbs.

I have a 2000 SAN on an 05 ramlin trailer. All that came with mine was the turnbuckle? Are all nautiques supose to come with the winch?

Winch is optional on a Ramlin Trailer.
