I dusted my prop the other weekend, first time in nine years so I had no idea which prop to get for my 2000 PAN. I called ACME and they suggested a 470, which I know everyone likes but after some more info exchange (I wake surf and wake board and I'm not concerned with top speed, just holeshot) we settled on a 1598. I'm a big 3 blade fan. ACME thinks I should have enough clearance from my prop to the boat (at least an inch or so) because Correct Craft didn't narrow the prop distance until 2002; therefore, I shouldn't have any noise (if the prop is too close to the boat there will be noise/vibration) because of the prop distance. Anyone have an experience with the 1598?
Thanks,
Kent
