speedo electric module on 2000 Ski Nautique - where is it?

I am planning to replace my Teleflex Digital gauges, which have quit working. I like the looks of the Teleflex Premium line, and you don't have to drill holes in the boat and install paddlewheels. The instructions all say you have to run an airline to the speedo from one of the airlines that are connected to the Speedometer Electric Module. The module is supposed to be mounted on the transom. What do I need to disassemble to get to the module? It looks like it may be down low behind the gas tank. Does anybody have pictures or drawings of this area?

    Any help would be appreciated,

speedo electric module - additional info

Here's some additional info. The module is supposed to be mounted down low on the transom. I have removed the engine cover, the floor behind the engine cover, and the back seat. On my seat, you can raise the seatback up about 8 inches to access a storage area. Once the seat is out, I am left with the shelf portion of the storage area, which is over the gas tank.

I may be able to remove the shelf, but I will probably have to remove one or both of the upholstered pads on the boat's gunwales for clearance. I think the module is down low behind the gas tank, but there is little clearance, and I can't see it. Any thoughts? Is there an easier way to do this?

        thanks for your reply

        Richard,

Thanks for your reply, but I do not want to fix the digital gauges and have them go bad again, which is apparently what they do. I do not have Perfect Pass, and I don't need it. We use the boat for open water skiing and wakeboarding. I would rather go with the analog gauges that I don't have to install a paddle wheel for. The only problem is finding the darn airlines to tap into!
