My father-in-law's boat is making an annoying continuous beep.
I'll just tell the story...
We took the boat out for the first time this year. The perfect pass unit came on and did its thing. However, the perfect pass unit did not register the speed, and the perfect pass unit displayed gibberish. No problem, the paddle wheel probably needs to be replaced or it has some scum in it and is not turning freely or the perfect pass is broken(IE someone is broken, we can fix it later).
We continued to ride and then all of the sudden: after stopping the engine while the transmission was still in drive(forward), we restarted the boat and the continuous beep began.
My question is: Does anyone have any insight into this continuous beep? The nautique dealer around us is basically worthless and has not been much help.
