    Fuel Tank Breather and Water

Is it possible for water to get into the fuel tank vent on the port side, near the fuel tank fill on a SANTE 220? If water does go down that vent, is it possible for the water to get directly into the fuel or is there a system in place to filter/block liquid from entering the fuel tank through the vent?

When I take my boat back to storage they usually wipe it down for me or give it a rinse. I'm not convinced that the washers know that there's a fuel vent there and could get water into the vent on the side of the boat.

    Thanks

there is a one way ball valve in the vent tubing that allows vapors to escape but should stop water from going down the tube. This is what I discovered on my vent tube for my 2000 SNOB

I was thinking that there should be something there to prevent the water from entering the tank. Thanks for the info.
