Has anyone found a good product for cleaning the interior of our Nautiques? I have tried several cleaners, but they don't seem to work as well as I hoped. My interior is pretty clean, and mildew is not a problem in my boat. I just want my interior to be the bright white that it was when it was new. I guess that's alot to ask of ten-year-old boat seats. Other than being a little grayed, my interior is in great shape. The owner's manual recommends Fantastik Spray, but that doesn't seem to get my seats back to that nice bright white.

I use 409 and a "soft" scrub brush and it takes it back to looking new. Let the 409 sit for 5-10 minutes. I then use a marine vinyl cleaner with a UV protector to protect it. Unfortunately it doesn't stay bright white all that long. I typically have to do it 3 times per year.

I use Zaino products- www.zainobros.com . They make incredible car polish too, which I also use on the boat. Granted it doesn't see a ton of time on the water, but one coat in the spring and it still beads above the waterline at the end of the summer. Their leather cleaner and protectant has UV protection too. All the Corvette and Viper guys swear by it.

I picked up some Meguiar's Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner & use that with a scrub brush (non-abrasive). Letting it sit for a few minutes also helps. Follow it with 303, looks much better. I have to do this 3-4 times per season & we're on pace for about 70-80 hours this year.

What might help to get the dirt from within the grain of the upolstery is your finger tips. The brush usually works pretty good but, with your finger tips you can put a little more pressure on the upolstery to open up the grain and really get the dirt out. A little more messy but, it actually works pretty good.
I would be a little careful with products not recommended by the manufacturer. I used to use Simple Green, on a previous boat, and really scrubbed the upolstery, looked terrific but, it probably made my upolstery age a little faster than it should have.
