recently picked up a 2004 SANTE and while checking everything oout i attempted to tuen on the nav lights and i hear a buzzing sound coming from where the rear light is right behind he drivers seat, well i get a closer look and its the light itself, or rather the motor that assists the light up and down when not in use, and the light does not go up and down, although the light works. is there ay way to repair this or is it time for a new one?? any help would be appreciated. any clue on how much one of these costs?

RE: Rear Nav Light question
Unfortunately, I bet it is time for a new one. Their components are just plastic gears and wear out easily. There was a thread on here (I cannot find it) that had the website of the manufacturer of these lights. You could order direct and save big time. Maybe someone else remembers the site. The swap is easy.2012 200

Check the price at the dealer. When you stop cursing, let me know how much it is.2012 200

Has anyone replaced this maintenance nightmare with a tower top light? My 04 SV211 tower and rope attachment are all one piece. Any ideas or experiences with a fix?
