Well I don't know if these are related or not, but on my 1996 SN the throttle lever is very loose. I can just pull it in towards me, and it will come off. I didn't know what is suppose to be retaining it but it is definitely not there. I need to look in to that. Any suggestions or pix/ diagrams would be great.
Also sometimes, just sometimes when I go to start it I turn the key and just hear a small click. When it does this I might have to go from the off position to Start 15-20 times to get it started. I have tried wiggling the throttle lever and not doing anything with it, it doesn’t seem to matter. I think it might be the starter relay (on the starter) or starter its self, but was not sure if it could be related to the throttle lever. I didn't know if you would even get a click if it was not in neutral.
Thanks!
