        You should be able to get them at many marine stores, dealers, and prop repair shops.

        Change your key out to a brass one (instead of stainless) while your at it.

          i really want to lap my shaft and prop. im going to look around tomorrow for the prussian blue high spot and valve compound. i found a new nut in my prop saver that i thought i had used. what size is the shaft by the way? 1& 1/8th?

            Get the prop number off your prop and look up the shaft size on the acme site.

            The blue high spot stuff is not required. You'll be able to monitor success just by looking at the compound. Be SURE to clean all the compound out with some solvent and rinse it clean with a water hose.

              The shaft size is 1 1/8" but the thread is the same as a 1" shaft. It should be a 3/4" coarse thread nut and yes you can get one from one of the other guys.

                  I think I used either some carb cleaner or brake cleaner with the little red tube attached. Do it away from everything else you don't want the overspray on.

                  Use something that evaporates fast...not some kind of penetrating oil.

                  It didn't dull the prop at all.
