    Spinner racks keep slipping!%$#@*

I have a 2006 SANTE with FCT and stock spinner racks. They keep slipping when loaded with boards and under way. I took them apart and they seem to be held in place with two large o-rings? I cleaned everything and reassembled but the left side keeps slipping.

No grease and the rings looked like they were in great shape. Any advice?

Cut a piece of bike inertube - and put inside the mount - this should tighten up the fit.

Thanks but is the o-ring on the inside of the spinner hub. The pin stays lock but the whole inner hub slips. I am not sure I can get a piece of rubber in there? I know what you mean for the other stuff on the tower, Bimini, mirror, speakers etc I have that.

Thanks for the advice though, I'm taking them apart one more time to see if I can figure it out.

Just noticed this post. I'm having the same problem. Anybody got a fix? I have a call in to CC Customer Service and my dealer has never heard of the situation happening with the Nautique racks...

I am not familiar with the spinning racks but I have held all my board racks in place by drilling a hole through the clamp and the tower and using a stainless set screw or two to keep them in place.
I don't know if this will work on the spinners. Just thought I would mention it.

If you have the spinner racks that uses a T-shaped pin, then they might just need to be tightened using an allan wrench. Inside of my 08 Titan racks, are two rubber o-rings, and you are supposed to smear grease on the inside.

                  Did this ever get resolved?

I have the same issue with the Titan OEM spinner racks on an 08 210...the clamps are not moving/slipping/rotating, but the spinner part of the rack releases and spins into the boats when loaded with boards (...if we hit a wake or are in anything but very smooth water). It can be a bit dangerous as the boards are eventually going to hit someone if I use the rack.

I called them and got what was their last set of o-rings and spare parts. I have not re-built them yet but will post once I do.
