Here is the situation:
I am starting the boat up for the first time since it was winterized last fall. The battery had a low charge, so I charged it to 12V. Upon bringing the boat to the lake, the engine turns over but will not stay running once i release the turn key pressure. Once i let go of the key, the engine dies. The engine kill switch safety latch is engaged. There is a depressable button at the bottom of the throttle lever, is that part of a choking system? I can also hear a short buzzing sound once i turn the key into accesory mode, which i think is the EFI. What might the problem be??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
