    Prestige trailer brakes?

Ok, well after replacing the hitch, and a brake hose, and new oil, I almost have brakes! I can feel them grab slightly. In the process of trying to set them up (drum brakes) I messed up the adjustment spring. Does one know who manufactured the drum brakes on a 1996 Prestige trailer? The only stamping marks I could find were HD-1206 on the drum/hub, nothing on the backing plate. I know they are a 12” single cylinder hydraulic drum brake. Any ideas? I will try to get a picture up later.

Have you considered replacing the drum brakes with Tiedown or Kodiak disk brakes? I changed mine over and it made a world of difference.

You should be able to find what you need here. All else fails purchase a new backing plate.
