2001 SAN GT40.. "do not operate" dash light

The dash light "do not operate it the light does not go off over 1200 rpm” will not go off... I have checked all the fluids, they are all at the correct level. Everything on the boat is working properly. What else is connected to that light???? What else can it be?? All the gauges on the dash are reading the same as when the light was not staying on. It will under acceleration blink off but once I’m on plane it lights up again...

That is for your trans fluid. If everything is as it should be fluid-wise, you may have a bad sensor. Fairly cheap fix if you are sure on the rest.

Actually, I believe the light is for the v-drive. Check the v-drive fluid level. It is underneath the center cushion of your rear seat. My bet, the v-drive fluid is low or the sensor is bad. Good luck.

I thought the light went off with higher fluid pressure. So maybe the pressure is low of the sender is plugged/bad.
