What is your average monthly maintenance cost? (<5 yrs ol

I've had my 1999 SAN for 18 months now and my average maintenance cost is easily over $200 per month and this doesn't even include "small" things like oil/transmission fluid changes, etc. I've had to do a few things that were a long time coming for this boat that the previous owner hadn't done, such as manifolds/risers, replacing all hoses, etc. Anyways, I went with an "older" boat because I thought it would be cheaper (even with maintenance), but maybe it would be cheaper over all to go with a newer boat with less maintenance.

What is everyone's average monthly maintenance costs? I'll make separate posts for different age boats.

For our '00 Air (DD), we pay to winterize &amp; de-winterize, and in the spring we always go ahead &amp; get a new impeller &amp; fuel filter. Also, we get the oil changed every 50 hrs. &amp; the tranny fluid every 100 hrs. Other than those things, all we've ever had to pay for is gas. We've had our boat since Feb. of '05, and we love it.

I forgot to mention that we've put almost 500 hours on our boat in the past 18 months. Maybe I should have set this up as a "cost per hour of use" instead of "monthly cost."

I have spent more money on my trailer maintenance this year than the boat. New bearings, tires, and soon to be brake upgrades or total replacement. The boat on the other had has only had impellor, belts, plugs and fluid changes for this year.
