Here's the response I received about Stargazer.

Well I convinced myself into ordering Stargazer for a couple of reasons. Mainly I don't like the idea of putting a 2" hole in my boat. A guy locally said the change in current isn't that noticeable on his ZO in my lake. Finally I don't want to worry about the paddle wheel in the hydrilla, while loading the boat, or while towing.Previous:

I got it installed on Friday. It took a couple of hours. Worked good on Friday, but had a couple of issues on Saturday. I think they might be a one time thing, but I'll see. I had to restart it once to get it to work. After my buddy got back in the boat I boarded up and he couldn't get the boat started. It seemed flooded (I could smell lots of fumes), but it's an EFI. Not real sure if it's related, but I've never seen this type of issue before. I got it restarted after leaving the engine cover open for 10 minutes.Previous:

Hmmmm... Interesting. I wonder why it would be "flooding" but who knows. As far as the GPS vs. Paddlewheel it's like if you're on one of those magic carpets at the airport. If you're on the carpet and walking 5mph and the carpet is moving 5mph you're really moving 10 mph relative to someone who's standing beside you (gps reading) although you're actually only pulling your luggage (wakeboarder) at 5mph. I hope that makes sense.Travis Fling
