I hear ya! The original question was can I build a shower cheaper than buying one. I bought my kit but still had to buy ball valves so I can shut the system off in an event of a leak.

I am a little confused. Id like to do this too but does the pump stay on all the time? Do you have to turn it on when you want to use it? Is it an automatic thing like if you open the valve on the shower head does it automatically turn on? -MG

That is a great question. I was wondering the same thing. Anyone have some additional input on this. My local dealer wants $500 to put in a shower system. Yuck.
