    John is a great guy, and if you build one that you use he would be happy for you. If you start selling them to profit off them he would be disappointed in you and a little ticked off.

      I hear ya! The original question was can I build a shower cheaper than buying one. I bought my kit but still had to buy ball valves so I can shut the system off in an event of a leak.

        That is a great question. I was wondering the same thing. Anyone have some additional input on this. My local dealer wants $500 to put in a shower system. Yuck.
