211 Rear Locker - Engine Compartment Divider

Was detailing the boat this past weekend and for whatever reason it finally dawned on me that the area between the port side rear locker and the engine compartment is not seperated.

The starboard locker and engine compartment are seperated by a composite panel set into an aluminum (?) channel attached to the bottom of the floor.

I noticed this same channel is installed inbetween the port locker and engine compartment but no upper hardware is evident.

Is this typical on an 07 SV-211 or has something been altered on mine.

For whatever reason it never clicked when we were looking at the boat. I also found that the rear seat back was missing the nuts and washers off the bolts, so I'm think some type of maintenance/repair has occured and the divider was never re-installed????

There should be a port divider as well on that boat. Sounds like it may have been removed by the previous owner and not replaced. If you store anything in that locker underneath the walkway, I'd be concerned about something getting into the engine compartment (i.e. ropes, life jacket, etc.) and getting tangled in the pulleys.

may be the pervious owner had the same problems as me, having to spend that much time fixing the engine that it,s quicker and easier to leave the divider out.
it has a 3 piece divider, to small piece for the bottom, with the two angles in the middle and one long piece with metal piece for the top, which goes under the fibreglass.the metal strip lock the 3 wooden pieces together.
make sure you put the floor in the locker first,as once the divider is in the floor will not fit in
