    2000 SAN keypad/electrical issues

I posted this awhile ago, but didn't receive any responses.

I have something weird going on. On the right keypad, the ballast tank "empty" button will work and the pump comes on. The "fill" button lights up, but the pump will not come on. ( The pump is fine because I removed it and hooked it up directy to a battery and it ran fine.

Also the shower appears to be on all the time because it is leaking water around fittings. The button for the shower will not light up and will not cut off the shower.

Any suggestions other than replacing keypad. This keypad was replaced three years ago.

I really would appreciate any response, Thanks very much

Well, you may like the keypad replacement more than my ideas.

Get rid of the ballast system and put in a new Jabsco bag system. My opinion is the same for the shower, unless you use it. Keypad problems solved.

Thanks for the advice. Can you give me more information on the Jabco bag system you suggested. Do you have a couple of good websites with information on this suggestion.

      Thanks again

Do a search here, under Maintenance and general. There are tons of recent threads about these systems.

Here is my install from a couple years ago.

Wake_Fun and Bchesley have both done very good write ups on theirs.
