Calibrating the Speedos on my 86 SN2001

How do I go about calibrating the speedometers? I have read posts that talk about doing it, but none that tell how. Please help.

I use the Garmin GPS out of my van . It gives exact MPH then adjust as needed.

If no GPS available a stopwatch and a slalom course will work. It's how they did it in the old days

Sorry I didn't make my self clear. I have the GPS...no problem, but where/how do I adjust the actual speedo?

On an '86, there should be an allen-headed set screw on the face of the Airguide speedos.

get the boat at the speed you use most and get the speedos to try to consistantly be equal with the GPS. If they are not accurate at all speeds at least they will be where you need them.
