Glovebox Support Struts For 2008 236

Does anyone know where I can buy some replacement struts for the glovebox on my 236? The model number has rubbed off and I could not find a replacement at PepBoys or Napa. After smashing my finger for a second time this summer I guess its time to replace it before the kids are victims.

I was wondering if this is a warranty issue as i have same problem dosent it hurt, hate one of the kids to lose a finger alot of weight in the glovebox lid

This IS a warrant matter. I have replaced many struts under the 5 years bumper to bumper. Call your dealer, if he's to far away, mine is 2 hours away, they'll UPS them to you. If you have any problems, let me know.
