'99 GT40 FCC Cross Reference #'s

My '99 SN GT40 has been stalling out. thought it seemed like an electrical problem, as I removed the kill switch lanyard to clean the area up a little, so maybe a coincidence, as I bypassed the switch last night and still had problem starting. I have never replaced the filter, so probably loooong over due.

Is there a NAPA part # for it?

No the FCC or Fuel Control Cell filter is a unique PCM part. Your dealer though should have them.

What about the fuel filter or water seperator?

Are these standard parts, or CC dealer? I don't really have a dealer close, and they just closed Midwest CC, so will need to be ordering online if NAPA or some auto store doesn't carry.

The FCC is all you have on a GT-40 motor for a fuel filter and seperator. Your best bet is to order one from Skidim.com or from whitelake and get a discount. Napa will not have anything that will work.

I found a decent PCM part schematic on White Lake for a slightly newer boat, 2002-2003, but the parts look similar, and the filter agrees to the one you referenced.

I am also wondering if my low-pressure fuel pump is failing. I turned the key on in my garage today and I cannot hear anything. I think I am supposed to hear the fuel pump turning on. I have read on other threads that the low pressure pump has been the culprit on similar problems.

I know my filter has to be replaced, but think I am also going to replace the pump while I am at it.

What is the secret code, and what is the discount?

It looks like it was the kill switch after all.
Put the new low pressure pump in and no prime when turning on the ignition.

Made a solid jump bypassing the kill switch and it is working great.
