Vinyl blasting apart at the seams!

I know that vinyl eventually starts to crack, but the vinyl on the sundeck of my 96 super sport has been doing so more and more. The boat is new to me, as of this season, and when we got her there were no cracks on the sundeck.

I started to notice small cracks, less than dime size, that would branch in 2 to 4 directions and then stop. almost all of these were near the stitching, to no surprise.

But the other day was a bit more severe. my girlfriend was on the sundeck, and propped herself up on her elbow. What resulted was a loud pop, heard by everyone in the boat, and a baseball size spider crack that pretty much stretched the width of this particular section of vinyl.

I have applied 303 to the entire boat twice so far this season, but I've also managed to already have racked up over 100 hours on the boat.

Is this just "the way she goes", or is there something else that can be done in addition to the 303 treatment?

Same problem here...........it's old, dry, hardened vinyl. We both need new rear vinyl from Nautiqueskins.com

Yep, its done. Nothing you can do at this point to bring it back. I think you are probably looking at about $350 for the rear sundeck from Nautiqueskins. Then you have to install it yourself or pay someone to do it for you.
