I ran out of Gas and now boat wont start!! HELP!!!!!
$175-250 for the carb rebuild. If your battery only hit 11v after all night on the charger, you need a new one. Get one with 750-850 CCA.
Regarding the battery, my battery gauge reads low, about 10.5-11 not running and around 11.5-12 when running. I cleaned up my connections, put dielectric grease on them and charged it up. It still reads about 11. I then put a multimeter on the battery itself and got 12.5. So, there is either a voltage drop between the battery and the guage or the guage is not reading properly.
Either way, there seems to be no negative effect on the running of the boat.
This is a 1998 SN with a GT-40.
