Does anyone here have a dual battery setup on their boat. I think that when I had some work done on my stereo, they rewired the battery setup wrong. I am OK with mechanical stuff, but electrical is a whole different story.
Here is the deal. When the switch is in #1 or Both voltage is at or around 12v. When switch is in #2 position No reading or power at all. I thought the battery was dead, so I took it out and charged it. It was fully charged, so I put it back in the boat. same thing. So then I thought maybe it is charged, but can't hold a load... Took it in and had it load tested. Everything is good with the battery. So I am thinking the wiring is screwed up somewhere. Any ideas how I can test the system or trace back the wiring to see if something is not plugged in, or plugged into the wrong spot? Thanks in advance for any and all help on this issue.
