PCM 330 Oil Change, Surely its more than 4QT

Changed the oil, and filter, 4qts in and it reads just below the "add" on the dipstick? I Know im not the sharpest tool in the shed but i think im a qt short? Anyone put in 5 Qt to get it to read full?

According to my PCM 2007 manual It states that the 5.0 and 5.7 engines are 4 QTS with Filter and the 6.0 ZR motor is 5 QTS with filter.

I have also read that its 4 qts in the manual but it reads no where near the full mark, its just below where the hash marks start where it says "add"?

Do you have the Filter relocation option? that could account for the differance.

I put 6 qts in my ZR6, not sure what the manual says.

I do have the filter relocation to the top and port side of the engine. I read the manual more and it does state that due to the incline of the engine and install that it may be nessasary to add more oil to get it to read full on the dip stick, so i added another qt and its right on now. So i think i have it. I feel i am safe as long as it reads "full" as the manual states it should read. i will check it out on the lake also. Thanks for the input guys and gals, even though i wouldnt let the wife touch the boat, at least the maint. side of it, just like i dont touch the kithen, I'd probably accidently burn the house down if i touched the kitchen. You checked it on the water, right?

I just changed the oil on my 06 210 with the 330. I use a vacuum pump to get out the old oil. Put in 4 quarts and it was reading below the "add" on the dipstick so I added one more quart and she was good to go. If I remember correctly I put in 5 quarts on the last oil change as well.
