Jabsoc pump might have went out?

Anyone have any issues with the Jabso pumps? They have worked flawless all year but now I have one that sounds different. They have always been noisy but recently I noticed my starboard pump is very quit. I haven't lake tested to see if it is still working but you can hear it but barely. Could the impeller have gone out? Like I said they are very noisy when dry so something must be up.

Yes. They spin the hub out of the middle of them. Impellers are cheap and easy to replace. Midwest carries them, get either the yellow ones or the green ones. Order 2, and keep one in the glovey.

My buddy that I just installed a system on has already gone through two yellow ones. I got into the habit of spinning mine the direction in which they will be used again so that it takes some of the stress off at start up. I don t have a spare but should as they are prone to going out.

I have a friend that goes through them too. I still have my originals in my pumps. I do keep a couple spares around for when it happens to mine.
