Starboard ballast tank won't fill

I have an 07 230 and the starboard pump is not working. The light comes on but I do not hear the pump at all. I checked the fuses near the battery switch but was not able to figure out if one had blown or not. I have changed fuses under the dash before but not near the battery switch. I searched the old posts but did not find any where the light was on but the pump was silent. Any ideas? Probably a blown fuse or a blown pump?

Bad impeller maybe, but you should still at least be able to hear the pump a little. Try it with the boat off and the hatch open.

I will give that a try. Any idea if the impeller is covered under the warranties?

I doubt it, but they are only ~$20. Just order a pair and keep a spare on hand. Pumpbiz will have them.

They are covered under warranty. Just call the dealer you bought it from and they should take care of you.

You should have pushbutton reset switches rather than fuses - did you push to reset the ballast button switches located on the panel that indicate 20 amp (I believe)

I do have the push button reset switches and did push them. Now that I think of it, I pushed them and then re-tested with the engine off and engine hatch open and still heard nothing. Probably just a bad pump I would assume.
