Guys I am looking at a 2002 210 to take on a possible trade on my 236 and was wondering how to check the hours in the Perfect pass. The boat has the gauges that tend to reset and I want to have the owner check the hours on the perfect pass as he is not the original owner and is not sure if the hours on the gauge are accurate.

What engine is in the boat? If it is a GM, you'll get a much more reliable reading from the ECU on the engine. You're out of luck with a Ford engine though.

Additional PerfectPass features are accessed by pressing the MENU & UP keys together from any main screen. The features available vary depending on the make and model of your boat. If a feature is not present on your PerfectPass then it is not available on your system.
To move to the next feature press the MENU key.
SYSTEM INFO
General system information can be found here. The software version, engine selection, system voltage, system hours, and water temperature (not equipped on all boats) can be found here. NOTE - System Hour and Water Temperature are only available on limited boats
If not in PP and it is a Chevy engine, a dealer should be able to read the hours with a scan tool.

I wouldn't go by the perfectpass hours, they can be reset to zero with a couple of menu choices.

ok i knew the dealer could check it on the gm engine so that is the way to go . iwas just curious to see if the old gauges had reset. thanks guys00 SAN 210 (previous boat)
