Not sure if this helps, but on the PCM Engine manual if you go to the back there are water flow diagrams and at least on mine (2006), it shows the places the heater and shower attach. http://www.pcmengines.com/owners_inf...opperation.php

      is the pump truly needed?

We are going to use the shower to just warm up cold wetsuits. won't really be looking for any type of pressure.

If you don't have a heater installed the pump might not be necessary, although you'd likely need to use larger hose connectors to get much flow at all. With the tiny connectors that come with the shower kits a pump seems like it'd be the only way to get water to travel the distance it needs to.

Does anyone know a source for the T fitting that I need to plumb in the pressure side of the raw water pump?

If you cannot find it at your local Hardware or Home Improvement store, try McMaster Carr
