    Tower cleaning/polishing?

Don't see anything on here, so I am curious to hear some options, as nothing I have found works. I know to truly polish anodyzed aluminum you need to strip the finish completly, but thats easy on a headlight or a piece of metal on a car. Not so easy on a FCT2. What do you guys use, specifically for bug removal after towing, etc?

I dont think the tower is anodyzed - either way I wax the tower and have no issues

I have the FCT2 and the best thing that I have found to use is the Collinite Metal Polish and Cleaner. Normally with wax I have to wax the tower a couple of times a season and preclean with the Mother's Polish. This year I tried the Collinite back in April and my tower still looks just as good now as it did then. That stuff is great! I would reccomend it to anyone. I will say that I used a wax sealer to follow it up after I used the Collinite, but it has held up awesome all season.

If the drive is a long distance - I have read where owners will use saran wrap and wrap the tower for the trip.

Sometimes I wonder if suntan lotion would be the best polish. The best spot on my tower is where I rest my right hand or grab on to talk to the skier in the water. I finally figured out it was so shiny because of the suntan lotion residue on my hands and the motion. Its like a mirror in that area.
