    Changing Driveshaft on SAN

I found a rock pile last weekend and now I need to change out my driveshaft. I tried searching, but didn't really find what I was looking for. What I am curious about is how difficult of a job it is to swap a driveshaft out in a v-drive? 2000 SAN to be exact. Is it something that can be done at home, or is it better left to the dealer? My closest dealer is a couple hour drive one way, so I would prefer doing it myself if possible. Anyone have tips on how to tackle this job?

If you have good mechanical skills and decent tools, you should be able to do it. I have not done a vdrive, just direct drives..

My only piece of advice is do a really REALLY good alignment after you have replaced the sheft.
