GT-40 replacement crate engines

Has anyone ever replaced a worn out or damaged gt-40 engine with a crate motor? I know that Roush sells high performance crate motors based on the 351W. Ford and other sources do as well.

GT-40 Replacement Engine

Yes, I replaced my GT-40 this year on my 2002-SAN with a PCM EX343 bobtail kit from www.skidim.com. It was a piece of cake to match up.

What are my options for repowering GT40 for a 2000 SAN? Looking for a new replacement engine.
