I'm headed out this afternoon to replace my alternator belt on my 2000 SAN. Can anyone give me some advice on how to and what tools I may need?

A wrench or socket set and you're good to go.1998 Ski Nautique (Red/Silver Cloud), GT-40, Perfect Pass Stargazer 8.0z (Zbox), Acme #422, Tunable Rudder.

RE: Replacing Alternator belt on GT 40
Bryan - Be careful how much you tension the belt. Too much tension will fail the bearing. It should have about 1/2 inch of deflection between pulleys with heavy thumb pressure. On the other extreme, check to see it is tight enough by putting a socket wrench on the alternator pulley nut & make sure you can't slip it against the belt.
Good luck
