Allen Key for tower. what size?

When attempting to fit our nautique in the garage for the winter storage, I soon foundout that the top section of the tower needs to be removed. Even with it folded down completely the tower sits just high enough to block it from fitting. there apears to be an allen bolt that whole tower pivots on, which i need to remove to get the top section off. It is an exceptionally large size that i cannot find at any hardware stores ie home depot and lowes.

Does anyone know the size of allen key I need to use for removing this bolt or where a good place to purchase one is???

thanks for your time and help

Not an answer to your question, but have you checked heights while disconnected from the tow vehicle with the trailer tongue jack at it's lowest point? Assuming there is a door, when opened, is the door higher then the framed opening for maximum opening height? If you are really close you may also be able to deflate the tires some to lower the boat further.

I can get an allen size for you tonight assuming you have a FCT2, which is what mine is.

See if you can find a torx bit that fits, they are mostly interchangable. I doubt it's very tight.

Sears is still a great place for tools.
