Tachometer / Hour Meter Stopped Working

My tachometer and hour meter stopped working this morning. Worked fine Friday and Saturday and even on the first few starts & stops this morning but then it stopped working completely.

I have a 2006 SAN Signature Edition with the Faria analog gauges with the analog tach and digital hour meter.

    Any suggestions???

    Thanks!

Look under the dash for a wire that is no longer connected to the tach. I think it might be gray.

The tach in the later model SE's is known for issues. It usually starts out with the hour meter failing randomly followed by complete failure of the tack at some point. If you don't have a loose wire, then call your dealer for a replacement gauge.

Thanks Shane. It was weird because it all happened at once. This leads to me think it is a loose wire. Now I just have to pull the dash and dig around.

Bad Gauge, I had to replace both of mine, sometimes the digital read out would work, then other days not!!!

It was the purple wire with the black stripe that had come off. Easy fix.

              Thanks everyone.
