I live in a fairly warm climate (Central Texas) and try to use my boat every month. If I let it sit for 2 months, do I still need to fog?

There have been times when I have let my engine sit longer than that, without fogging.

One month, probably not. Two months, I do not know. Three months, or longer, probably should.

If you keep the engine warm, so it never gets condensation on, or in it, you probably could go longer. Here is what can cause condensation. Lets say the weather get cold for a period of time. The cast iron block will slowly cool down to the ambient temperature. Then when the weather changes to warm and moist quickly, (a storm off the gulf in your case) then engine will still be cold, and until the temperature of the engine parts warm up to the higher temperature, condensation could form on and in the engine.
