I just wanted to give an update. The prop puller obviously worked like a charm. Well worth the money. Thanks Mkeski!

Hey guys, im the third skiier on my buddies 96 SN. We started to pull off the electric lift, but since the lift wasnt low enough, we fear the prop hit the lift. Now, we have a vibration while in gear that is so bad, we dont even have any low end torque. The bend is very slight, so it makes me think that the strut bearing or axle bearing havent been shot. Anyway, we still want to remove the prop to get it trued, or replace the **** thing, but the unknown puller that my buddy rented didnt fit, it ran out of threads before pulling the prop.

The question is, which exact puller do we need for a 13.35 x 16 3 blade prop? Im hesitant to order online unless we know that it will for sure fit our prop. Any details and tips are appreciated!!

          Thanks, Chris

If it ran out of threads, back it off and put a socket or some washers in there to take up some space.

Actaully, thats what i suggested to my buddy, but by then, he had already returned the rental. So, now, rather than rigging a puller thats too big, we'd rather just acquire the appropriate puller. ANy ideas on brands/models and where to get one?
              Thanks. Chris

I shopped around and the puller I liked best was from ACME.

The best price should be from Delta Propeller www.deltaprop.com using our site discount code : DP9PNA

So, funny thing(not really).. i went back to the marine parts place where my buddy rented the puller, amred with a plethora of sockets to take up the space of the larger puller. The guy rents me the puller, only theres TWO in the tool box! guess which size was missing the first time Anyway, I got it off and now notice a very bad looking strut seal* - i think.

                  Thanks!

I've always used the harmonic type with no issues. Just takes a few good whacks and the prop comes right off. They are about 1/3rd of the cost of a c-type.
