    Impellor: guess age and hours?

    It was time!

    Water temp on the gauge started to swing a bit, usually right after coming off the throttle while we sit the skier. The temp never got too high but end of year maintanance is crucial.

              la. soup does not flow through a cooling system as well as southern canada water.

                  One summer in the swamp????

                  We ride on the Big Cypress Bayou on Caddo Lake several times a year and the cypress swamp water is some nasty stuff. Dont ever wear a pair of boardshorts with any white on them. I can actually tell the difference in the size and firmness of my wake in it also. Something weird is in it.

                      2007: run for 80 hours in South Carolina
                      2008: run for 400 hours in Atlanta area
                      2009: run for 220 hours in BR.

                      700 hours on three seasoned impellor. I was surprised it wasnt worse but planned on changing it every year anyway.

                          Silt, oil, and a dash of mercury.

                          Oh, and alligators and stumps.

                          We change ours every spring. My father in law unintentionally tested the longevity of his in Caddo. With moderate use, just under 3 years.

                                  I figure that's the reason for these extra 5 lbs I've picked up over the years.
