Well, I got home now and I checked the tranny fluid and it looks good with no signs of water. It looked red and clear, smelled good and helps put my mind at ease. I have plenty now to keep me busy on the boat. As soon as I get laid off, I will haev plenty of time to work on it. Looks like I may have another possibly 2 months of work where I am at. The longer I work there now, the better chances I have of actually having the summer off this year, which is what I am striving for at this point.
"red and clear" does the V drive gearbox not take 30 SAE oil, did't think that came in red colour?
