Hey Mark, I don't wanna hear any complaining about that Response LXi. I drove it all summer. Beats paddling. Actually, we did have to swim it to shore a couple times. (Shhh, don't tell Grant)

My ski partner has a 2001 Response, not the LXI. The LXI at pine skis nice, but its way to powerfull and it has lots of skuff marks on the hull from the drive bouys. They will not track on line. When I ski the 2001 Response I use the same Normal and 10, but the LXI needs to be at Normal and 5, or even - and 5. The driver of the LXI really has to watch the speed going into the green balls.Life long Nautique guy

Mark, that was the first thing I noticed about that LXi. It wanders all over the course. I dont know why the other manufactuers cant get a boat to track like a CC. It would be better for the wives who drive. Although my wife is one of my best drivers.Life long Nautique guy

Only CC has the hull technology that allows glue like tracking but still with a soft small wake. Bu has a nice boat with a great wake but at the expense of better tracking. That's the trade off. Since I spend more than 50% driving my boat, I'm pretty dang happy I have a CC.Comment
