I have a Northstar 550i GPS unit fitted to my 2005 sv-211 Team ZR6 and am currently considering whether to order the optional fuel flow gauge.
The gauge itself appears to be a fairly simple device that is designed to be mounted in-line in a 3/4" fuel supply hose but must be installed after the primary fuel filter. Having looked at the PCM manual it shows the primary fuel filter combined with the high pressure fuel pump in the Fuel Control Cell. However, the manual does not specify the fuel hose sizes and nor does Northstar specify whether the flow gauge is suitable for use in the high pressure side of the fuel supply to the engine.
Can anyone therefore advise whether a fuel flow meter can be fitted to the ZR6 or offer any advice on how this can best be done.
