    Engine temp GT40

Hi all, I was just wondering what is the standard temp for the GT40 engine. I just changed the manifolds and risers on my 2000 SAN ran it on the flush kit to check for any leaks etc. Ran it under a bit of load 1200rpm in neutral for a few minutes all in total probably ran for 10 mins. My temp gauge was up at 160 since its just starting summer here I cant remember if that is normal? I seem to remember it normally running about 120? Any help would be much appreciated.

160 is normal operating temp for an MPI engine.

            Came across this today.
Thermostat - PCM Ford Engines - 160 degree, newer (1994-up)
            http://nautiqueparts.com/thermostat-...160degree.aspx

140 degree is for PCM Ford carbureted Engines (most PCM engines prior to 1995)
