    Flushing Question

I just purchased a 2007 SAN 220 with a fresh water flush installed. I'm new to the wakeboarding world and just had a couple questions. Can the boat be flushed while it's still in the water? It's brakish water so while I'm waiting for my lift to be installed I want to be able to flush it without taking it in and out of the water if it's possible to do so. Any info or advice that you guys could give would be greatly appreciated.

      RE: Flushing Question

I do have fresh water at the dock but what prevents the water from being sucked up from the bottom. Is there some sort of valve that need to be closed first and I can run the enine while that valve (if there is one) is closed? If there is a valve where it is located? Thanks for the quick response.

        RE: Flushing Question

it should have a check valve within the valve to prevent it from sucking from the lake, pull the seats out and take a look to see how it's installed, assuming it's factory but you know where that get's you. So double check what you have and make sure someone didn't add a valve that needs to be closed so you'll have piece of mind.

also look at the owners manual too if you don't have one then hit the download option on the left side of the page for the link to it.

          RE: Flushing Question

I pulled the seat out and what I see are 4 valves - 3 blue (I'm assuming those are the ballast valves) and 1 red one which I assume is the raw water valve. I bought it 2nd hand and not directly from a dealer so I'm not sure if it's factory or aftermarket flush kit . I'm assuming factory as it has a transom hookup and looks professionaly done but not 100% sure. I follwed the transom hose and it runs into a Flushpro which then attaches to the filter and has no valves in the path. I looked in the manual and didn't see anything about the fluish kit. The only references I see say if you have it installed flush it or if you run it in salt water flush it. I didn't see where it says shut off this valve, run the engine, etc.

sounds like it's factory. the flushPro is the check valve for the flush. There is a shut off by the tranny where the raw water pick-up is put you shouldn't have to jack with that just attach the hoxe to the fitting turn the water on then start it up. .
