I dug out the steel wool material and found solid fiberglass in my bow drain. Any consensus to just drill it out? MIne has about1 inch of clearance from the bottom of the drain to the hull.

Well my 211 is in for service and I had the dealer look at the bow drain issue. They said it is a manufacturing defect in the bow drain and the anchor drain system. Apperently, they were never connected to the proper drain lines to the bilge. Now they want me to pay for the fiberglass repairs, because I am the second owner. What the heck, if it is a manufacture defect shouldn't the manufacture cover this?

Has anybody ever had any success appoaching correct craft to cover defects when the CC dealer can't help?
