I winterized my boat this past weekend. Everything is finished excet that after I took out the raw water pump and opened it up, I can't get the impeller out. Is ther some trick or clip that I am not seeing that releases the impeller so that I can pull it out? I have a 2003 Ski Nautique 206 with the Excalibur engine.

instead of just pulling the shaft out of the impeller housing twist the shaft as your seperating the housings. with doing that the impeller should spin its way out of the housing. when your installing the impeller in the spring your can do the same but push the housings togather. it may give you grief the first time but next year you should have it licked. if you still have problems call me. jason at southwest correct craft 903-882-8593.

on your pulley you should have 3 holes. with a 10mm socket loosen the three bolts that bond the halves of the impeller housing. these bolts have o-rings on them so do not remove them completly! after the housings are loose just turn the pulley as your pulling the halves apart and you should have it licked.

Thanks for the information. I will give it a try tonight when I get home. By the way, I just noticed that you are from Tyler Texas. Where is Southwest Correct Craft in Tyler? I go to Tyler on average once a year to do some work for Carrier.
