good or bad idea putting on aftermarket performance intake on 351 pro boss with gt 40 heads old intake rusteed badly in water ports

What year? I'm not sure what years have the injected version but if it's a carb then yes, even Fi would consider it.

i test fitted it yesterday and its to tall exspecally when i put the vacume spacer inbetween the carb and didnt want to run the pcv vacume of the vacume port that was there it would only pull vacume of the number 4 cyl afraid of leaning that cyl out so oh well just putting on the gt40 heads and the correct manifolds should give me more than i had
