    Zero Off upgrade/ ECM reprogram 07 236 TE ZR6

Does anyone have experience with the zero-off upgrade from PP? I have an 07 236 TE ZR6 and am interested in this. I had seen a reference elsewhere to the process of "upgrading" the ECM on the engine seemingly as part of the process to thus make 390 hp (ie, '08 spec vs 375 for mine).

I asked this question about the upgrade etc by email to Zero-Off but got no response.

Their site makes it seem like a DIY project but I was wondering if anyone had any experience good or bad with this.

Your Nautique dealer(or any PCM service facility) will have to flash the ECM in the boat. That's not something you have the ability to do. Once that is done, you can add the ZO. The ZO installation is REALLY simple.

Thanks. I spoke to the ZO people by tel and they were helpful. The ECM can be removed and sent to PCM (which happens to be right near me in SC), but they were not sure of the deal with the HP upgrade as a result of the reflash, but only that it allowed the ZO to communicate properly with the ECM. I got the HP idea only after reading it in an (old) ad by PN's own Jeff who had the same boat as I did and did exactly this upgrade.
