Raw Water Impeller Orientation

02 SAN w/GT40. I was working too fast and made a rookie mistake--didn't check the orientation of the pump. My assumption is that since the pulley will spin clockwise, the inlet/outlet tube should be closest to the port side, not the engine. Can anyone confirm this?

Look through the service manuals and your own. It might show a sketch of the front of the motor.
