    Heater wiring for 196LE

I installed a heater this weekend and just have to wire it up. Do you splice into the harness that goes from the fuse panel to the keypad? The wire colors match up, and I have the wiring diagram for my boat, I'm just 100% sure where to tap in. BTW, running the hoses under the floor is an awful job!

If you look up under the dash on the r/h side in the wireing loom you will find a connector with the same colour wiring as the heater in that connector there should be pluged a connector with some wires that are caped off unplug this and plug in the heater i think if you do a search on here youll find some pictures

      The wiring is already there

The wiring is already in the boat Look for a bundle of wire with the same colors as described in the wiring diagram. There will probably be a resistor attached to the end between 2 of the wires. It will be in the bundle behind the kick panel where you are going to mount the heater

The wiring is right there as you said it would be. The boat side has one of those white, 4 pin connectors, but the heater just has the 4 wires. It would be very easy just to connect the wires, but it would be nice to add a connector to the heater side. Does anyone know where to buy those? Are those basic electrical connectors?
