    Spark plug replacment help please?

    Good day everyone,

I have 2004 210, with a PCM 5.7 liter motor and its time to change the plugs..

Research and manual point to a rp0300100 plug at 90$ for a set of 8?

Is that correct is there no other plug I can use instead of such a expensive spark plug?

Your correct on the price. I pulled the ones out in my boat and Napa set me up with a set of platinum plugs around $8-9/plug. What came out was AC 41-932, but they said they didn't make those anymore and gave me a replacement. I probably wouldn't try to cheap out on these, which overall are pretty cheap if you divide the dollars/year of use you get out of them. Instead of Napa go with White Lake which give you a discount for being a member here I believe.

If it was mine I would put ac delco plugs back in whitelake does have them at highly recommend but if u want to see if u can save money cross the spark plug number to Ngk. Ngk make most of the delco plugs anyway and your cutting out the second party for the same quality plug

Did some searching and it looks like the AC 41-932 plugs were replaced by AC 41-993.

You can get ac41-993 at summit racing for 6.25 a plug and cdiautoparts.com has them for 5.50 at that price just stay with delco

500 hours are currently on the boat..

On whitelake all I see is the rp030010 set ?? Where do you see 41-993??

Perhaps I should just call AC-delco and ask for the 41-993?

Try a set from a 98 chevy pickup truck.

I'm not sure if marine plug wires are special or meet the "J" whatever spec. From a fit/function standpoint, the wires from a 98 Chevy pickup w/5.7R engine whould work if the routing is the same. My concern (for routing) might be that the paths are different because of the exhaust manifolds. Find a late 90s truck with the vortec engine and the flat top distributor cap and take a look.

AC might also have a marine lookup catalog.

About to travel - no more posts from me today.

May be a lame question, but I am considering trying to change these out on my boat myself. I have always changed the plugs on my cars, but I was taking a look and holy cow that looks tricky to get that far down and around to them. Am I missing something obvious? Does anyone have any advice on the matter? Much appreciated.
In reply to the posts, I can confirm that the correct plugs are 41-993 for the 6.0 ZR6 motor...just not sure how I'm gonna get them changed
